Thank you for considering participation in nymble’s pilot program. This document explains how our obesity-focused AI chatbot works, what it can and cannot do, and how your information will be used.

By using this chatbot, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following:

• The nymble chatbot is an artificial intelligence (AI) tool designed to:

  • Provide information about side effects of weight-loss medications.

  • Share general advice on obesity management.

  • Offer support, not medical advice.

• This chatbot was developed with input from clinical obesity experts to ensure the information provided is as accurate and reliable as possible; however, as this is still in pilot stages, it may be prone to errors.

• Important: The chatbot is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult your healthcare provider for diagnosis, treatment, and advice on medical conditions.

2. data privacy and security

• Your interactions with the chatbot are recorded and stored securely to help us improve the service. 

• Your personal information and conversations are not shared with any external parties.

• Nymble is committed to protecting your privacy and keeping your data confidential. However, because this service uses WhatsApp or SMS, there are risks such as:

  • Messages could be intercepted during transmission.

  • Data security cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of these platforms.

• By using the service, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

3. limitations of the chatbot

• Not for Emergencies: The chatbot cannot help in emergency situations. If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

• Pilot Phase Testing: This chatbot is still in its pilot (real-world testing) stage. It may not work perfectly, and errors or limitations could occur. We aim to address issues promptly.

• Information, Not Decisions: The chatbot provides general information but cannot replace medical advice or create personalized treatment plans.

• Scope of Responses: The chatbot may not have answers to all your questions. For complex or sensitive health concerns, always consult your doctor.

• Use Responsibly: Do not rely solely on the chatbot for health-related decisions, especially if symptoms worsen or if you have significant concerns.

4. withdrawing your consent

• You can stop using the chatbot at any time by contacting us at info@nymble.health.

• When you withdraw consent:

  • Your access to the chatbot will end.

  • Any data collected before your withdrawal will be handled as required by our data retention policy and applicable laws.

5. your responsibility as a user

• Provide accurate and complete information when interacting with the chatbot.

• Use the service as intended and responsibly.

• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account or a data breach.

• Notify us immediately at info@nymble.health if you encounter any concerning responses .

• You confirm that you are above the age of 18 and a resident or citizen of Canada.

• This service is not eligible for use by other AI bots.

6. relationship with your healthcare provider

• This chatbot is an independent tool provided by nymble. It is not connected to your healthcare provider or medication prescriber.

• Your healthcare provider is not responsible for the chatbot’s content, operation, or outcomes.

• By using this service, you agree to release your healthcare provider from any liability related to the chatbot.

• Always prioritize your healthcare provider’s advice over information from the chatbot.

7. key reminders

• The chatbot is a support tool meant for general guidance on obesity management and side effects of medications. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or provide specific medical advice.

• If you have serious symptoms or health concerns, contact your healthcare provider or seek emergency care immediately.
